Accolade: An  award or privilege granted as a special honor or as an acknowledgement of merit.
-The firefighter received an accolade after saving the two children from a burning building.
Acerbity: Sourness or bitterness of taste, character, or tone.
-The mans acerbity was unveiled after he gave his speech.
Attrition: 1. A rubbing away or wearing down by friction.
-About a third of the jobs will be lost through natural attrition.
Bromide: a commonplace or hackneyed statement or notion.
-The Harlem Shake became a huge bromide, which caused a massive influx of video creations.
Chauvinist: a person displaying aggressive or exaggerated patriotism.
-The Klu Klux Klan was a chauvinist faction.
Chronic: Constant, recurring.
-My mother has chronic back pain.
Expound: present and explain (a theory or idea) systematically and in detail.
-He was expounding a powerful argument.
Factionalism: A group of people forming a cohesive.
-I answered that both groups were suffering from serious defects and advised him to take measures to liquidate factionalism.
Immaculate: perfectly clean, neat, or tidy.
-He wore an immaculate white tuxedo to the party.
Imprecation: a spoken curse.

Ineluctable: impossible to avoid.

Mercurial: characterized by rapid and unpredictable changeableness of mood.

Resplendent: attractive and impressive through being richly colorful or sumptuous

Stigmatize: describe or regard as worthy of disgrace or great disapproval.
-She was stigmatized for her performance at the VMA's.
Sub Rosa: happening or done in secret.
-The committee operates sub rosa.
Vainglory: inordinate pride in oneself or one's achievements.
-He did not hesitate to flaunt his great personal vainglory in public.
Vestige: a trace of something that is disappearing or no longer exists.
-A vestige of hatred.
Volition: the faculty of power of using one's will.
-Without conscious volition she backed into her office.
