Macbeth Act 5

- Kings palace in Dunsinane, conversation between the doctor and a woman discussing Lady Macbeth's sleep walking
-Lady Macbeth  talks about the murders in her sleep walking
-Scottish lords discuss the military strategy with the English forces led by Malcolm to assault the castle of Dunsinane.
-Malcolm talks with the English lord and his officers concerning the plan for Macbeth's castle.
-Each soldier must cut down a tree to conceal their numbers.
-a women cries, Lady Macbeth is discovered dead.
[Hamlet Soliloquy]
-She should have died hereafter;
There would have been a time for such a word.
Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day,
To the last syllable of recorded time;
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle!
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury
Signifying nothing
-Macbeth remembers the prophecy of the Birnam Wood and is outraged and is terrified.
-Malcolm commands his troops to drop the boughs and assault the castle with their swords
-Macbeth kills Lord Siward's son
-Macbeth and Macduff finally meet and throw up arms and duel, Macbeth becomes cocky and tells macduff about the witches' prophecy and declaces his 'invincibility'
-Macduff kills Macbeth
-Malcolm becomes king of Scotland
